Yes, we provide trolleys free of charge for customer use.
We do not provide padlocks, as this ensures that you are the sole key holder of your space. You can purchase a new, sealed lock at any Extra Space Asia facility. No one else will have a key to that lock except you.
Packaging materials are available for purchase at the Box Shop located in our Yangjae, Apgujeong, and Bundang facilities.
Items include boxes, bubble wrap, markers, tape, shelves, stretch film, cutters, and padlocks.
Product availability may vary by location and stock.
You may call our Emergency Assistance Number after office hours. The number is located on the security keypads, lifts and along the corridors.
You may contact our Customer Service team on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (excluding 12:00 PM–1:00 PM for lunch). Our team will be happy to assist you with any inquiries.
Simply sign a short storage agreement, make the quoted payment, and you’ll be ready to move in. Your contract is a month-to-month agreement with Extra Space Asia and consists of a simple three-page document that takes less than ten minutes to complete.
For face to face payments: You may pay via bank transfer or visit our Yangjae, Bundang, or Apgujeong facilities to pay by cash, card, or check. If you are unable to visit a facility, please contact us during operating hours, and we can provide a link for online payment.
For unmanned facilities: Payments can be made via bank transfer or online card payment.
(Please note that online card payments are only available with cards issued in Korea.)
For individuals: A valid form of identification (e.g., national ID card or passport) and contact details are required.
For corporate customers: A copy of the company registration and the representative’s ID are required. Bringing the company seal is recommended.
We can reserve your storage unit for up to one month when you place a one-month storage deposit.
You may choose your preferred start date, within one month from the day you sign up, to begin your storage rental.
The purpose of the security deposit is to safeguard both the storer’s and provider’s legal interests. As long as the storage unit is returned to us in its original state upon vacating your space, the security deposit will be refunded to you in full.
No, they do not. Prices may vary depending on the location, unit size, and any ongoing promotions.
The price provided includes storage fees, service charges, utilities, and maintenance costs. There are no hidden fees.
A refundable security deposit equivalent to one month’s rental fee is required at the start of your rental and will be refunded in full upon vacating the unit, provided there is no damage.
A one-time administration fee is also charged for first-time customers of Extra Space Korea self-storage.
Once your storage rental begins, you will have free access to your storage unit around the clock(*except Banpo which is allowed to access 6:00 AM-11:00 PM).
Only the registered account holder is authorized to access the storage unit.
If you choose to share your access PIN or lock combination with others, they may also enter the unit.
Please note that the account holder is fully responsible for any loss, theft, damage, or incidents resulting from shared access credentials.
If you forget your access PIN or wish to change it, please contact our Customer Service team during office hours.
After identity verification, we will assist you with resetting your credentials.
Yes, all Extra Space storage facilities in Korea provide 24/7 access for customers(*except Banpo which is allowed to access 6:00 AM-11:00 PM).

Our staff are available on-site during office hours to assist with any inquiries.
Outside of office hours, customers can access their units independently using their access credentials.
For unmanned locations, assistance is provided remotely during office hours.
Yes. Only registered users or authorised persons listed under your account will be allowed access to your storage unit.
You have the freedom to access your items 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Feel free to add or remove items from your storage room whenever you need(*except Banpo which is allowed to access 6:00 AM-11:00 PM).
After you submit your move-out notice, we will send you a move-out form.
Once you receive the form from the store via email or KakaoTalk, your termination request will be considered completed.
Refunds are provided in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement.
Prepaid rental fees beyond the required notice period will generally be refunded after account verification.
However, for long-term prepaid plans that received a prepayment discount, no refunds will be issued upon early termination within the contract period, except for the security deposit.
You can upgrade to a larger unit or downsize to a smaller one at any time, depending on your storage needs and the availability of units within the same storage facility or at another storage facility.
You may provide notice to terminate your storage lease at least 14 days prior to your desired move-out date.
Your initial security deposit and any unused fees will be refunded. (Please note that unused fees are not refundable if a prepayment discount was applied.)
After submitting your termination notice, you are required to complete and submit a Move-Out Notice Form.
You will need to terminate your unit at the current facility by giving 14 days’ notice and sign up as a new customer at the other facility. The storage unit at the other Extra Space facility is subject to availability, and price discount plans may vary.
Items that do not meet safety or regulatory requirements are not permitted in self-storage. These include:
Hazardous materials such as explosives and flammable goods
Perishable items that could decompose (e.g., exposed foodstuffs)
Living things such as animals and plants
Stolen or illegal goods such as drugs and firearms
Cash or highly valuable items etc.
You can store almost anything. Common items include furniture, documents, books, building materials, commercial stock, wine, antiques, and sports equipment. You can also store collectibles or any items you value but don’t need to keep at home or in the office.
